About Weintz Inspection Services Weintz inspection services was established March 2005 as a sole proprietorship
operating in northern Nevada and the Lake Tahoe region. Owner/operator Kevin Weintz has over 25 years of construction experience.
In his teens Kevin worked in his father's business, Weintz and Sons Construction,
performing tasks in all phases of custom home construction and remodeling. After a
fews years in college he gained employment in the residential construction business. His
career began in 1985 and he spent the next 20 years employed by three major builders in
the northern Nevada area. Over that time he worked from the ground up starting in
various labor positions, material handling, as lumber yard superintendent and framing
superintendent and ending as a general construction superintendent. Through those
years he gained extensive knowledge in material standards, codes, construction
standards, structural requirements and overall industry standards. His technical
knowledge was gained from working with engineers and material specialists on all types of construction projects. Kevin also gained experience as a customer service specialist, improving his
understanding of construction deficiencies.
Since the inception of Weintz Inspection Services, Kevin has performed hundreds of
home inspections improving his understanding of common deficiencies and their causes.
He has a unique ability to identify deficiencies that will cause long-term damage. Over
the 20 years of his construction career he has been directly involved in the construction and
inspection of thousands of homes.
